چکیده
Aim of study: Genetic diversity pistachio, can be evaluated by using different descriptors, as adopted in international certification systems. Mainly the descriptors are morphological traits leaf, which represents an important organ for its sensibility to growth conditions during expansion phase. This study a rapid and quantitative non-hierarchic clustering classification (k-means), extract size classes basing on contemporary combination (i.e., leaf stalk length, terminal width ratio) varietal collection composed 21 pistachio cultivars.Area Worldwide.Material methods: The unsupervised technique was entire samples leaves from k=2 k=15 both four variables three ratio).Main results: A model only (for results statistical analysis groups resulted more separated all variables), with k= 5 (five groups), constructed non-linear artificial neural network approach. percentages bad prediction training testing equal 0%. “terminal length” returned higher impact (44.89%).Research highlights: traits, allowed create automatic great importance cultivar identification comparison.

Identification of Reference Genes for Quantitative Gene Expression Studies in a Non-Model Tree Pistachio (Pistacia vera L.)
The tree species, Pistacia vera (P. vera) is an important commercial product that is salt-tolerant and long-lived, with a possible lifespan of over one thousand years. Gene expression analysis is an efficient method to explore the possible regulatory mechanisms underlying these characteristics. Therefore, having the most suitable set of reference genes is required for transcript level normaliza...
متن کاملDrying Kinetics of Pistachio Nuts (Pistacia vera L.)
The effect of different air temperatures (40, 50, 60 and 70°C), air velocities (1 and 2 m/s) and bed depth (monolayer, 3 and 5 cm) on drying kinetics and lipid quality (peroxide value and free fatty acids) of a variety of Persian Pistachio nuts (Abasali variety) were studied. Additionally, effective diffusivity (D ) was determined eff by using Fick’s second law varied from 7.061×10 to 2.105×10 ...
متن کاملAlternate bearing and the possible role of carbohydrates in bud abscission of pistachio (Pistacia vera L.)
Pistachio produces an abundant number of inflorescent buds every year (during spring and early summer) which abscise mainly on fruiting branches during seed development. Competition of the developing ovaries/seeds with inflorescent buds for nutrients was suggested as being primarily responsible for bud abscission. Although leaf N correlated with bud retention, foliar application of N did not re...
متن کاملAntioxidant activity and phenolic profile of pistachio (Pistacia vera L., variety Bronte) seeds and skins.
Pistachio (Pistacia vera L.; Anacardiaceae) is native of aride zones of Central and West Asia and distributed throughout the Mediterranean basin. In Italy, a pistachio cultivar of high quality is typical of Bronte (Sicily), an area around the Etna volcano, where the lava land and climate allow the production of a nut with intense green colour and aromatic taste, very appreciated in internationa...

A research was conducted at Pistachio Research Institute in Rafsanjan, Iran, to evaluate the effects of P. vera L. ‘Badami’, P. vera L. ‘Sarakhs’ and P. mutica F and M. ‘Beneh’ rootstocks on mineral content of leaves and kernels of ‘Owhadi’, ‘Kalleh-ghuchi’ and ‘Ahamd-aghaii’ pistachio scion cultivars. Twenty year old trees of these combinations were used during study over 2003 and 2004. Leaves...
